Drury Crawley
Dr. Crawley is a Bentley Fellow, Sustainability and Education, a thought leader focusing on decarbonization, digital twins, climate change, resilience, and sustainability. With 45 years of experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability, he has worked in engineering software, government research and standards development organizations, as well as building design and energy consulting companies.
Dr. Crawley has been the President of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) since 2022, an at-large board member since 1998, and a past Vice President and Secretary of IBPSA. He is an IBPSA Fellow, received the IBPSA Innovative Application Award in 2019, and the IBPSA-USA Distinguished Achievement Award in 2022. He was recognized as a Fellow by CIBSE in 2024. Dr. Crawley is also an ASHRAE Fellow, Distinguished Lecturer, ASHRAE Learning Institute instructor, and a past ASHRAE Director at Large.
He has published 125 papers and articles, testified before the U.S. Congress, lectured at 50 universities, and delivered more than 700 presentations on energy efficiency, sustainability, and renewable energy worldwide.
