Zacharoula Gorou

Zacharoula Gkorou is a Mechanical Engineer and BIM Manager with a strong specialization in Building Information Modelling, MEP design, and digital construction workflows. She holds an MSc in BIM – Project Management with BIM from Politecnico di Milano and has extensive experience in the implementation and management of BIM processes for complex building projects.

Her professional expertise encompasses BIM management, MEP design and coordination, Revit-based workflows, multidisciplinary collaboration, model quality assurance, and the development of BIM standards and project-specific methodologies. In her role as a BIM Manager, she leads teams in the effective adoption of BIM, focusing on improving coordination, information management, design efficiency, and overall project delivery.

With a strong engineering background and a practical approach to digital transformation, she is particularly interested in the evolution of BIM beyond design and coordination, towards integrated project management, automation, data-driven decision-making, and the development of smarter and more efficient built environments.
